Yuval Allweil

Advanced Software Engineer Technical Lead @Kroger

I’ve done a lot of wide-ranging work for this Fortune 20 company. As a Tech Lead, I ensure that my team’s technical deliverables are always built to the specification, are robust, and on time. I work closely with Product stakeholders on ideation and execution, and with the Back End teams to create contracts for future services. I plan and implement smooth transitions to new service architectures with our in-house and third-party clients. I take pride in mentoring and helping my teammates get un-stuck, and enjoy building rapport and sharing knowledge by pair programming whenever possible. As a Front End Developer, I mainly use React, Redux, Jest, and React Testing Library. Here are some of my accomplishments: · Implemented UI/UX redesigns · Created prominent homepage widgets used by millions of daily active users · Smoothly transitioned to new order, product, and payment architectures · A/B testing · Analytics · Accessibility (a11y) audits and improvements · Site-wide CSS performance improvements · Built tools for customers to shop safely during COVID-19
