New Venture Competition @Ucsb Department Of Technology Management
I participated in UCSB\'s eight-month New Venture Competition, focusing on creating a startup, building and refining the software that drives our product idea. My team and I developed a social travel planning application, worked with mentors to refine our business model, pitch our idea to investors, and attend weekly workshops to expand our knowledge on startup development. We participated in the New Venture Fair where we spoke yo several potential investors, customers, and TMP educators. From the fair we advanced to the finals where I pitched our products to over 200 people and answered questions from audience members. I’m excited to see where my product goes and hope to share our final result soon!
