ABOUT XIMENNA MARTINEZ
I recently graduated with a B.S. in Information Systems from Point Loma Nazarene University (May 2025), and I’m excited to begin my career in cybersecurity and IT.Through my internships and academic projects, I built a strong foundation in cybersecurity, IT service, and programming. I earned my CompTIA Security+ certification, applied technical skills in Python, Wireshark, Java, and C++, and contributed to training programs as a Cybersecurity Lead Instructor Intern with the U.S. Cyber Initiative. My time on the ITS Help Desk team taught me the importance of collaboration, communication, and adaptability while supporting a wide range of technical issues. Being fluent in Spanish has also given me the ability to connect with and support diverse teams and learners. I’m passionate about helping others grow their technical confidence, solving complex problems, and continuing to learn in an ever-evolving field. As I begin my post-grad journey, I’m eager to contribute to a team where I can apply my skills, grow professionally, and make a meaningful impact in cybersecurity and IT.
