Overseeing operational risk data provided by business units for use in risk identifying, assessing and monitoring operational risk activities; • Partnering with Charles Schwab Bank management to identify, assess, monitor and control their existing and emerging operational risk; • Challenging the effectiveness of the bank\'s risk response; • Overseeing and challenging content of business produced materials in support of the Operational Risk Management Framework; • Overseeing the escalation of operational risk issues in accordance with the Corporate Risk Assessment Policy; • Overseeing and challenging the design, implementation, and maintenance of businesses’ processes and controls to manage the risks that the organization is exposed to; • Working with the Business Continuity and Incident Management Team, designated business continuity plan owners, or accountable officers to understand the contingency and business continuity plans and the risk of non-recovery; and, • Provide advice and guidance to Senior Management regarding risk and the design of controls.
