ABOUT WYATT PARK

I am a Senior Solar Technician Site Lead Technician with more than 4 years experience performing DC Health, including diagnostics and remediation at the Module, String, Harness, HCB, and Recombiner levels, Advanced inverter maintenance, and Substation NERC Preventative Maintenances, and switching orders preparation and execution. I hold certifications in ABB, SMA, Sungrow, TMEIC, and Power Electronics inverters including advanced diagnostic, and troubleshooting experience. My experience extends to performing detailed ground fault identification,(Including split voltage testing, Amp clamping, and meter to ground testing) and utilizing tools such as a Megger and fault locator, IV Curve Tracer, and IR Tools. Currently, I’m a Utility Scale BESS Commissioning Specialist with LG Vertech performing QA/QC operations, and supervising proper cold/hot commissioning of new BESS sites.I was the Site Lead Technician for 5 other technicians as well as all on site contractors, and warranty OEMs. I operated and maintained all aspects of Slate Solar/BESS and Mustang BESS totaling a little less than half a GIG of PV, and nearly a Gigawatt of BESS, including the DC Health, PE Inverters, 230kV Substation, and BYD BESS systems for Recurrent Energy.As a certified Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Administrator, I specialize in the application, testing, and execution of LOTO procedures both in the field and at critical locations such as Inverter Skids, MVT, field MV Switches, as well as large scale substation LOTO procedures. I also have experience training new hires on LOTO processes to ensure operational safety and compliance. Additionally, I’ve personally researched, prepared and submitted NERC documentation, Thermal Event RCA reports, and have crucial CMMS experience in platforms like Maximo, Salesforce etc.In a leadership capacity, I have successfully managed teams of up to six individuals overseeing Re-power projects, onsite EPC services, system refits, and hot/cold commissioning as well as at Recurrent Energy in my role as Site Lead Technician (Technician Level 3) for our on site staff. Additionally, I am an FAA Licensed 14 CFR Part 107 sUAS Pilot, with over hours of flight experience and in-depth analysis of photovoltaic (PV) utility and commercial power sites.
