Serving in a key member-facing role that balances the interests of numerous stakeholders Led the Rates Committee, comprised of the top executives within the company, tasked with developing recommendations for new rates and adjustment or affirmation of existing rates. Presenting to the Board of Directors on all matters relating to rates, such as the annual rate plan, quarterly over/under collection balances, and any resolutions to modify rates, rate programs or fees in the Tariff. Managed the Cost-of-Service Study (COSS), a triennial requirement of the company’s rate policy. Managed multiple consultant engagements relating to various corporate objectives such as investigating future rate structures and rate offerings, as well as building the business case for these proposed offerings. Acting delegate to LCRA Rates and Resources subcommittee on Demand Response programs. Led the analysis and executive team reports on various topics such as electric vehicle charging and time-of-use rate plans. Implemented a new rate design to recover Transmission Cost of Service (TCOS) pass-through cost. Performed annual rate resets for the credit tied to distributed solar, which increased 34% in two years. Responsible for directing member correspondence spanning all aspects of rates and the tariff. Delivered a workshop for the Board of Directors to review and build consensus on rate recommendations.
