   We build diplomatically cleared routes to Execute Rapid Global Mobility. No matter what, no matter when, no matter where, our team provide the routes to get our Airmen there. In the last 13 years this office has implemented $160M dollars and 530M Ibs. of CO2 savings.Flight Plans and Airspace Branch operates 24/7/365 and provides winded, optimized computer flight plan (CFP) support for AMC mission operations. This office’s core responsibility is to maintain Air Mobility Command’s (AMC) aeronautical route database used in the Computer Flight Planning System (CFPS). This route database is the trusted source for all AMC aeronautical routings and directly supports the 618th AOC Diplomatic Clearance Specialists, Flight Managers, AMC planners, USTRANSOM, USAFE, PACAF, and other DOD agencies making Flight Plans and Airspace the DOD\'s Strategic Route Experts. Through Mission Execution Services, this office provides aircrews on AMC missions that are not flight-managed a complete and fileable CFP 6-8 hours prior to scheduled departure at the en route C2 facility. Additionally, we provide CFPs for both tankers and receivers on air refueling (AR) missions, however, AR missions utilizing ALTRVs are normally provided CFPs from another office or unit planners. Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) can develop AR flight plans requiring an ALTRV with a minimum of 72 hours prior coordination.
