ABOUT WILLIAM BARKWELL

Over 40 years experience in the Property Management Industry. I have been involved in Operations as well as other operational related areas such as Asset Management, Business Development, Marketing and Leasing, Purchasing, Human Resources, Accounting, Construction and Information Technology development and implementation. I have worked for privately held organizations as well as public companies such as Insignia Financial Group (now AIMCO) and now the Preferred Campus Management (NYSE:APTS). I have developed and built teams in all the areas mentioned above and I am comfortable with taking control of and directing the daily operations of an organization. Additionally as President and partner of Ambling Management and senior leader of various other organizations, I have participated in strategic planning and development as well as corporate capital and operational budgeting. Over the span of my career in the industry I have been engaged in all aspects of property and corporate operations. I do what it takes to get the job done and I take pride in my ability to build successful teams and in my accomplishments over the years! Specialties: Property Management of any asset type and class - student housing, conventional multi family, tax credit assets, commercial, retail and industrial.
