ABOUT WIKSADANA W.

I am a quantitative analyst with 5 years of experience, currently working as a Research Analyst at Prospera (Australia–Indonesia Partnership for Economic Development), where I contribute to improving Indonesia’s fiscal systems through data-driven policy support. Over the past 2 years, I have worked closely with Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance, including the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK), the Directorate General of Budget (DJA), and the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF), applying rigorous empirical methods to analyze intergovernmental (central-local) fiscal transfers, budget execution, and regional spending equity. My work supports evidence-based policymaking and national reform initiatives. I also work closely with the National Planning Agency (Bappenas), National Nutrition Agency (BGN), and Ministry of Health. Previously, I worked on monetary policy research at Bank Indonesia (1.5 years), before transitioning into fiscal policy, an area I now find intellectually fulfilling due to its tangible link to service delivery and regional development. I have also worked independently under CEDS Universitas Padjadjaran to support clients from ADB, ERIA, Tokyo University, IFSA (OJK), IHC, Bappenas & West Java Bappeda (see projects section for details).
