I’m passionate about accelerating innovation and fostering collaboration within the scientific and tech communities.As the president of the Hertz Foundation, I have the privilege of leading the nation’s most prestigious doctoral fellowship in applied science, engineering, and mathematics. I work alongside an incredible team and dedicated volunteers to support some of the brightest PhD students in the country—offering not just funding, but a lifelong community and the freedom to pursue bold ideas. Our goal is simple: to help these extraordinary minds shape discoveries that truly move the world forward.

Lead national foundation that fuels our nation’s leadership in science and technology and advances groundbreaking scientific discovery in benefit to humanity. We award fellowships to extraordinary graduate students, and support them throughout their careers as part of a lifelong, interdisciplinary community. Offices in Boston, MA and the San Francisco, CA Bay area.Oversee all aspects of program and operations for the foundation in pursuit of the board-approved strategic plan, including: increasing the number of Hertz Fellowship awarded annually, expanding and deepening the Hertz Fellowship experience; and extending the engagement of the 1,305 innovators and leaders who constitute the Hertz Community.Work with the Board of Directors to ensure the strong financial health of foundation and to achieve tangible successful outcomes in support of its mission. Develop and execute sustainable revenue strategy, direct rebranding effort, and create new partnerships to extend our impact.
