Build a drive the Risk & AML vision, strategy, and manage a risk product roadmap- Develop multi year strategy for the fraud operations function, build enterprise-wide capability across multiple types of fraud and minimize losses while maintaining great user experience- Lead the Financial Crimes Unit, Payment Risk Team, Recoveries Team and Fraud Analytics- Lead and manage a global risk team of Managers, Team Leads, Fraud Specialists, AML Specialists, Payment Risk Specialists and Credit Risk Specialists- Lead24/7/365 North American & Offshore Fraud Operations function - Build a best-in-class Fraud & AML Operations team that excels in fraud detection, investigation, case resolution, CDD, EDD, and SAR creation- Initiate and lead vendor evaluation for Fraud and AML management to ensure Veem identifies and adopts latest prevention & detection solutions- Build an efficient function for retrieving funds that have been lost due to fraud- Collaborate with Compliance, Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, Customer Operations, Sales and Legal teams to ensure new strategies are designed and implemented accurately- Build fraud literacy within the organization- Risk mitigation for customer onboarding on the Veem platform- Fine tune KPIs and report metrics and share key findings with the leadership team- Identify operational tooling and process design to reduce SLAs while increasing accuracy- Build robust processes to investigate fraud cases and make decisions regarding escalation and resolution- Benchmark anti-fraud best practices to ensure systems and controls adequately address fraud typologies.
