ABOUT VIRA VOIEVODINA

From ancient languages to agrifood innovation, my career has always been about building bridges - between people, systems, and bold ideas. I began as a lecturer in classical philology, teaching Latin and Greek medical terminology to international students. That foundation led me into journalism, translation, and academic coordination - roles where precision, empathy, and cross-cultural communication were essential. 🧩 I then moved into operational roles - first as an Office Manager, and later as a Purchasing Logistics Specialist - where I fine-tuned my skills in internal coordination, procurement, and workflow optimization. These experiences gave me a strong backbone in delivering under pressure, streamlining systems, and solving problems before they escalate. Today, I work as a Junior Project Manager at EIT Food, where I coordinate open calls, evaluate proposals, support agrifood innovators, and implement initiatives. I help bring programs to life—ensuring transparency, timely delivery, and meaningful engagement with participants. My role blends precision with purpose: I manage deadlines, budgets, and stakeholder communication while staying focused on long-term impact. As a Ukrainian, I’m deeply committed to justice, freedom, and resilience. Since the full-scale russian invasion, I’ve actively supported the Ukrainian army and displaced families - coordinating humanitarian aid, military goods and vehicles, fundaraising and logistics. War is not just a crisis or a challenge - it reveals who you truly are in moments of emergency and life-threatening danger. And it has only deepened my belief in the power of structured action and value-driven work. What I bring: Full-cycle project coordination, from open calls to final reporting Multilingual fluency (Ukrainian, Polish, English, Russian, some Italian & French) 🧘 Calm focus and reliability in high-stakes situations Logistics and operations experience that strengthens delivery Deep belief in mission-led work and strong moral values I’m not just a reliable project manager — I thrive in complexity. With strong leadership and organizational skills, I bring clarity to chaos, create structure from scratch, and keep things moving when others freeze. If a mission needs order, momentum, and someone who can deliver under pressure — I’m that person. 🤝 If you\'re working on something impactful, courageous, and socially responsible — especially in innovation, sustainability, or advocating for Ukraine — let’s connect. I’m always open to projects where structure meets purpose.
