As a Senior Financial Analyst in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP & A) department for a global company, I had tremendous opportunities to work on cross-departmental projects. I was also asked to review financial statements on a reoccurring basis for the FP & A financial reporting responsibilities to corporate and external audits. I am comfortable contributing individually; however, I prefer team-based work as it is more engaging and often leads to learning opportunities for all involved.I am a graduate of the Mays Business school at Texas A&M in Houston with a Professional Master of Business Administration (PMBA) degree. I graduated in the top segment of my class with a 3.93 GPA. I also attended the College of Charleston as an underclassman and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration with a Finance Concentration.As part of my MBA program, I took the CliftonStrengths test provided by Gallup to gain useful insight into my profile. My top five areas of strength identified were: Futuristic, Learner, Analytical, Strategic, and Achiever.I am down to earth, respectful, and results-oriented. I take pride in completing my work in a timely manner and always try to surpass expectations. I am a good problem solver with natural empathy towards others. I enjoy spending time with friends, playing board games, and outdoor physical activities. I also enjoy watching movies or reading a good book.I have spent significant time over the past six years focusing on improving my personal and professional skills. I look forward to my next professional challenges as I see the recent completion of my MBA as an inflection point in my career.
