ABOUT MICHAEL L. CAPELLA
I have the privilege and honor to serve as the Abraham A. Mitchell Dean of the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama. Previously, I served as Dean of the College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans from 20••••23. Prior, I was the Associate Dean, Graduate & Executive Programs, and Professor of Marketing at the Villanova School of Business. I joined the faculty at Villanova in 2005 after receiving my Ph.D. from Mississippi State University and served as Associate Dean from 20••••19. I have a PhD in Marketing as well as ten years of successful professional sales management experience. As Dean of the Mitchell College of Business, my mission is to advance our nationally-recognized business programs by partnering with our outstanding faculty, staff members and administration. At the Mitchell College of Business, our faculty work closely with industry partners to create a cutting-edge curriculum and develop ethical business leaders for a global economy.
