I’m currently working as a short-term intern with the USGA during the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club. I help with event operations, including setting up areas like hospitality tents, media spaces, and volunteer check-in spots. I work alongside USGA staff and vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly. I also support departments like guest services, player services, and merchandise. This experience is teaching me a lot about what goes into running a major sporting event, and it’s helping me build strong teamwork and communication skills. Being part of such a big tournament confirms how much I want to keep working in sports and events.
