ABOUT VERA PADILHA
I\'m co-founder and Senior Graphic Designer at CREATIVA Design Studio. We are a women-led remote team of creatives and experts. Founded by migrant women of colour, we work with value-driven women and businesses around the world. I’m in charge of graphic design and branding for our clients.I absolutely love what I do, and I often feel that what I do is who I am. The passion for my craft lies in using my skills to help people communicate their messages effectively, create meaningful connections with their target audiences, and visually bring their ideas to life.I have worked on a variety of branding projects for organisations and companies all over the world, pretty much. Some of my earlier visual memories in life are linked to the fact that my mum was a commercial artist, creating campaigns for government agencies in my country of origin. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, and I started obsessing with all things pop culture, art, design and showed early artistic talent. By the time I began my higher education, I realised I was a step ahead.I believe serving others is how you live richly. Helping and supporting my community gives me a sort of pleasure that is larger than life. This is a huge part of my personality, and what inspires me to think out of the box with original ideas, or with new ways to approach problems.
