Overall responsibility for all accounting processes and compliance related to Accounts Receivable ($30B+), Accounts Payable ($35B+), and Payroll (30k associates nationwide). • Understand and maintain a deep knowledge of the business, stakeholder needs and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives to develop a well-informed Accounting Center of Excellence roadmap rooted with best-in-class performance metrics. • Lead and develop a team of 200+ associates through timely performance feedback delivered during day-to-day observations, file reviews and annual performance reviews. • Support enterprise-wide projects that incorporate proactive and innovative solutions to addressing business challenges and achieving organization goals. • Proactively builds an Accounting Center of Excellence and leadership team that focuses on consistent and accurate service delivery while also building an intentional framework for developing dynamic practices that evolve with emerging trends and best practices in technology enablement and business needs. • Evaluates and incorporates intelligent automation solutions into continuous improvement projects to increase digitalization of the function (incl. ERP capabilities, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning). • Ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting / Sarbanes-Oxley 404 as well as compliance with business applicable state or federal regulations. • Responsible for attracting, retaining talented associates, upskilling to meet business needs & associate goals, and creating effective succession plans in collaboration with other Senior Accounting leaders.
