Manage the conversion from ICD-9 to the new mandated ICD-10 formats project Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resource needed and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project and meeting required deadlines.Responsible for project documentation and management of daily work assignments; performs project status reporting. Working closely with CD-10 coders and project deliverables. Identifies documents and communicates client requirements, business requirements and process flows.Adhere to issues resolution and risk mitigation processes; ensure that issues are resolved or escalated to appropriate forums for resolution; identify barriers to project success and support risk mitigation planning. Ensure that all applicable CHFS-OAT\'s Project Management Standards and Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) processes are followed.Identify and help resolve system problems/issues and report problems to management in a timely mannerProvide status reports. Ensure that Quality and Change Management controls are in place Provide Project Management assistance to the Department for Medicaid Services (DMS) for ICD-10 activities as requested.
