Tyler Foster, with a degree in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University, began his career in insurance, rising to Sales Director for one of the nation’s largest life insurance companies. In 2006, he founded Foster Insurance Group, focusing on risk management solutions for churches, higher education institutions, nonprofits, camps, and personal lines such as home and auto insurance. Meanwhile, Jon McKinney launched McKinney Insurance Agency, LLC in 2004. A Missouri State University graduate with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Business, Jon built his agency by serving churches and private schools in Missouri and Arkansas, specializing in not-for-profit and religious organizations.With nearly 40 years of combined experience across multiple states, the partnership between Tyler and Jon was a natural evolution. Together, GLS Insurance Group offers an expanded portfolio of carriers, seasoned staff, and deep expertise in serving small businesses, skilled trades, vocational services, and nonprofit organizations.
