I am a retired U.S. Army Colonel and national security advisor specializing in defense supply chains, global logistics, and contested sustainment. Over a 25+ year career, I served in senior command, chief of staff, and strategic advisory roles across the Department of Defense, U.S. Transportation Command, Defense Logistics Agency, NATO, and multinational security assistance organizations.My work has focused on translating national defense strategy into executable capability—designing and modernizing logistics systems that operate at scale under conditions of political risk, infrastructure degradation, and operational complexity. I have led enterprise-level organizations responsible for global distribution, advised three- and four-star leaders on logistics strategy and industrial base alignment, and supported joint, interagency, and multinational partners across the U.S, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.Key experience includes:• Commanding the largest distribution complex in the Department of Defense, delivering over four million shipments annually while executing major modernization initiatives• Leading critical international distribution efforts during the COVID-19 response, including pharmaceutical and medical supply chains• Formulating Army-wide logistics strategy and supporting implementation of the National Defense Strategy• Advising NATO and allied partners on logistics, sustainment, and multibillion-dollar security assistance programs• Developing and executing international defense transportation and logistics strategies within USTRANSCOMI retired from active service as a Colonel (O-6) and was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal.Today, I am the Founder & CEO of ConnerLogix, a defense-focused advisory platform supporting government agencies, prime and mid-tier defense contractors, international firms, and investment-backed platforms. In both organizational and independent advisory roles, I engage selectively on strategy, defense supply chain resilience, industrial base modernization, acquisition support, and capture advisory.I operate under strict post-government ethics standards and do not engage in lobbying or transactional influence. My advisory work emphasizes discretion, compliance, and long-term mission value.I am particularly interested in challenges at the intersection of national security, supply chain resilience, contested logistics, and defense-industrial integration—especially where operational realities must inform policy, investment, and execution.
