Increase awareness of the career development process (i.e, personal awareness, professional development, and goal alignment) by providing resources and support in identifying, creating, and implementing career development as a part of the employee development process for UW Health employees and supervisors- Develop and deliver curriculum and programming to proactively address projected health care workforce shortages, create internal and external pathways for specific allied health careers, and build a more diverse UW Health workforce reflective of our patients through strategic community partnerships (e.g, Urban League of Greater Madison, Centro Hispano)- Coordinate and provide instruction in the Learn@Work program and curriculum, which is designed for entry-level healthcare workers, combining education with career planning to give employees the confidence to advance or improve in their current role as they invest in their personal and professional development.NOTE: Revised the vendor provided School at Work® curriculum with in-house content based on Skip Downing\'s On Course curriculum to create the Learn@Work program. Learn@Work empowers employees with strategies to change their lives through personal, academic, and career development. The changes reduced program costs by increased learner engagement, and created flexibility in the curriculum to meet workforce and operational needs.
