ABOUT TRACY BAGLIO BOFF

I am an experienced leader with over 25 years of experience in health and human service programs for individuals with disabilities including care management, housing, employment and HIV/AIDS Services Programs in Rochester, New York. I have a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College and certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. It would be a perfect story if I told you that I intended to be working and leading health and human service programs from the time I starting thinking about a career; but the reality is I didn\'t. Fresh out of college from with my Bachelors Degree, I needed a job. I started working with developmental disabled adults. I not only found a job but I knew I had found my career. I can\'t imagine doing anything more rewarding than working with the most vulnerable and people in need in our society. I entered HIV/AIDS Services field in 1996, when many people were still dying of AIDS. I have held the hand of many who have passed on to a better world and wiped the tears of family and staff that cared for them. I have met some truly incredible people! Along the way I also discovered that I loved sharing my experience and knowledge with others and helping them reach their goals. I was fortunate to experience some great leaders who allowed me to advance my skills and work on projects I was passionate about. I take on new challenges with gusto and can take credit for building a successful organization from the ground up. I have witnessed an evolution within human services throughout my career and the current emphasis on the connection between community services and health is refreshing. I have extensive experience and passionately support the recognition of the Social Determinants of Health and the massive system transformation underway for accountability and value in a fully integrated health care system.
