As an Operational Excellence Executive, I give growing companies the tools they need to drive efficiency and productivity at an enterprise level. Working hand-in-hand with executive leadership, I position Operational Excellence as a key component within corporate vision and strategy at companies such as KPMG, Nationwide and Cardinal Health. I distill high-level goals into actionable strategies that produce measurable results while building the necessary teams, structures, and programs necessary to integrate continuous improvement at all business levels. Drawing on my background as a Master Black Belt, I present complex concepts in an accessible way that opens doors to deploy new operating models, processes, and systems based on Lean/Lean Six Sigma practices and methodologies. Focused on employee empowerment as a means to organizational stability, I encourage collaboration and a respectful, compassionate work environment. Employee capability building and advancement are integral parts of my approach to leadership. I continually engage team members to understand their unique goals, strengths, and weaknesses. I then apply my own expertise as well as those of cross-functional teams and external partners to support each individual’s professional development and achievement. I also work with cross-functional leadership across the US to fully incorporate CI culture and ensure full organizational understanding of Lean and critical problem-solving principles. In addition to my professional activities, I am a dedicated volunteer and serve as a board member on multiple nonprofit organizations, including CompDrug Inc, Breakthrough T1D, and The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Center for Operational Excellence.
