ABOUT TODD ROLL
For the past 14 years I’ve owned and operated Pedal Bike Tours. We show tourists the sights of the city by bicycle. I consider Pedal to be a customer service rather than a bike company. Our mission is to show people how easy, safe and fun exploring Portland is and to bring this concept back to their homes. Our online reviews depended on our ability to make people happy over the course of a 3 to 5 hour tour. Of course, I’ve also developed all aspects of business ownership including managing operations, budgeting, forecasting, creating and selling tour packages, HR (I had a maximum of 15 seasonal employees) and marketing. For the 8 years before that, my career consisted of Supply Chain Management, purchasing, warehousing, materials control management as well as forecasting and always personnel management. For several years after college I earned a certificate in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and taught ESL for several years.
