This initiative focuses on transitioning to advanced technologies like Spring Boot, Event-Driven Architecture and Cloud, ensuring the payments infrastructure is cutting-edge and efficient.Business Collaboration: I excel in building strong relationships with business partners, working closely to define new features, understand technical capabilities, and explore the art of the possible. My role as a trusted advisor helps bridge the gap between technology and business needs.System Architecture: In collaboration with the Architecture and Platform organizations, I play crucial arole in defining system architecture and customer requirements, ensuring the payments platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals.Technical Expertise: As leader for the enterprise-level Kafka and MQ messaging team, I demonstrated my deep technical expertise and ability to manage complex technical challenges efficiently.Project Leadership: I led the successful implementation of the payments integration layer for the new insurance billing system, managing a significant project from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.In summary, my role as Director of Payments Infrastructure is characterized by solid leadership, strategic innovation, effective collaboration, and deep technical expertise, driving the evolution of payment technologies at USAA.
