ABOUT TIM SCHUMACHER

MBA - 2018, Marquette Graduate School of ManagementPMP - 2021, The Project Management Institute I am a creative, relationship-driven, program management leader who is also an adept change agent. I have over 12 years of experience mitigating project risks that have real-world impact. As a servant leader, coaching and relationship development are keys to my success. I actively advocate on behalf of my coworkers and vendors, while concisely communicating risks and required changes to executives, mitigating project failure. I am of the unwavering belief that building relationships at work not only improves individual success, but that stronger personal ties with coworkers, or customers, can be a vehicle for organizational achievement. My project management strategy is one centered around project culture and contributor accountability. I hold all stakeholders accountable, including executives and customers. This is not done via harsh and sterile schedule control, but through persistent clarification that all team-members’ goals are ultimately the same, creating powerful intrinsic motivation because we are doing this for one another. World-class organizations can identify their true resource constraints and understand that proactive continuous-improvement programs require investment. I champion this message as initiatives with positive ROIs are commonly ignored due to short-sighted financial milestones. This allows high employee turnover to persist and causes customers to leave for more forward-thinking partners.I am a Wisconsin native who believes Milwaukee can be a renewed hub for innovation as we move further into this young century. Building on its historic manufacturing pedigree and its current engineering pipeline, I can’t think of a better place to build a career.
