ABOUT CARL THORNE-THOMSEN
Accomplished go-to-market leader, with direct experience in the full-stack of bringing products to market: team building, product management, design, user research, education, marketing, enablement, partnerships, and sales.I\'ve committed my career to helping solve pressing social problems, in education and most recently in climate - as a classroom teacher, campus administrator, ed-tech product & sales leader, and now as Director of Market Development for Tradewater.usLooking to make the biggest impact possible, today, on climate? At Tradewater, we\'re focused on super polluting non-carbon emissions, responsible for over half of human-generated warming to date. Once in the atmosphere, these gases which include refrigerants, halons and methane, can\'t meaningfully be removed. So, as a climate solution, preventing the emissions of these highly potent gases is a proven high-leverage, high-quality way to bend the curve of warming in the near-term. By rounding up legacy and ozone-depleting refrigerants and halons, and through the capping of methane-leaking orphaned gas wells, we\'ve permanently prevented the emissions of over 8 million tons of CO2e to date, and are on a path to preventing 5 million tons / year of impact in the coming years. Interested in supporting this work? Companies and individuals provide the capital for us to take on this necessary work through the purchase of carbon credits.
