When I am not practicing law, my wife Melinda and I sail, and occasionally race, our somewhat tired but very pretty sailboat, Inisharon. She is an F&C 44-foot ketch, which means she has two masts, both forward of the steering post. Inisharon was designed by the well-known naval architect German Frers and was manufactured in Argentina in 1979. We sail her on Long Island Sound and the northeast Atlantic coast. We have completed three Newport-Bermuda races (635 open-ocean miles) without any injuries or major equipment failures. Not bad for a 45 year old boat!
