ABOUT THOMAS DITSWORTH

As a senior at Vanderbilt University, I am pursuing a double major in Economics and Computer Science, with a passion for applying my analytical and technical skills to solve real-world problems. I have also studied abroad at Universidad Carlos de Madrid, where I enhanced my intercultural and language skills.Currently, I am working as a software engineer intern at MCA Connect, a Microsoft Gold Partner that provides innovative solutions for businesses. In this role, I am involved in project design, testing, analysis, and maintenance, using technologies including Azure and other D365 platforms. I also provide and present technical solutions to clients in an efficient and comprehensible manner, working on a team of 10. Previously, I was a data science teaching assistant at Vanderbilt University, where I created and updated assignments and quizzes, graded student work, and answered questions for a 100-student class. Additionally, I was a client analyst at Coleman Research, a leading expert networking service provider, where I identified and recruited experts, qualified and prepared them for consultations, and kept up to date with industry trends and news. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and programming, as well as a deep understanding of both economics and computer science principles and applications. I am eager to learn new technologies and methodologies and to contribute to the success of the organizations and clients I work with. My goal is to leverage my education and experience to pursue a career in software engineering, data science, or consulting, where I can apply my skills and knowledge to create value and impact.
