Climate Activist | Feminist | Connector | OperationalizerI have experience in both science (let\'s get out in the field or crunch some numbers!) and policy (need someone to negotiate the verbiage in a treaty?). I love science diplomacy and natural resources management, and my work is fundamentally motivated by climate change and environmental justice. I\'m particularly interested in the role of women in leadership and climate adaptation.More about me- I am a strategist and an operationalizer, figuring out how to turn ideas into plans and actions- I am a connector and a relationship-builder, interested in building networks and coalitions to move us closer to all of our goals- I am fully proficient in Spanish and English, and I\'m learning French and Hindi- I have lived, studied, or worked in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.Specific Achievements Include- Defining & organizing the Forest Stewardship Council\'s Climate Strategy, and representing the role of forestry in climate action on the world stage at COP27 & COP28- Drafting and negotiating the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance Declaration on behalf of the U.S- Thesis research outlining the narratives that describe women\'s roles in climate adaptation and how these narratives contribute to policy- Completing a Master of Science in Water Management and Governance from Oregon State University & IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, and a Master of Arts in Water Cooperation and Diplomacy from the U.N. Mandated University for Peace.
