Terri Alpert is a serial entrepreneur and consumer marketer, with a strong technical bent. She created multiple direct-to-consumer companies from the ground up.Alpert was a founding member of Connecticut’s only organized angel investment group. She is a frequent coach and mentor of entrepreneurs. Having supported Brown University’s Entrepreneurship Program since its inception, she served as a board member, lecturer, frequent business-plan judge and board-mentor for the annual business plan competition for a decade. She was a founding board member of Zeo Inc.(formerly Axon Labs), a venture funded company which is revolutionizing the consumer\'s understanding of sleep.In 2007, Alpert was one of three women selected by Working Mother magazine for their first ever “Entrepreneur Mom” award. A frequent source of inspiration to other entrepreneurs, she has received considerable coverage in publications such as Inc. and Entrepreneur magazines. She was the subject of a cover story on CNN/fn’s “Entrepreneur’s Only” television show in and has appeared on radio talk shows on numerous occasions.
