Performing routine tests.(ratio, phase rotation, resistance, impedance and loss measurements, Power factor, Megger, etc.) and perform high voltage tests on transformers & switchgear.(Impulse, Partial discharge, Hypot, Double induction, etc.)• Applying electrical fundamentals for fault analysis and analyze technical data to determine the health of completed units. Ensure customer and test specifications have been met. Preparing Final reports for submission to customer. Also responsible for the installation of new equipment into the testing area.• Performing pre-assembly ratio tests & troubleshoot whenever required. Inspecting product in-process and after assembly to determine quality. Inspection shall include Engineering drawings, outlines and designs, mechanical dimensions, electrical wiring, and overall appearance of product. Assisting in schedule planning to facilitate movements of the product in/out of or through the Test area.• Creating specifications and procedures for tests as needed. Collaborating with other departments to identify and solve problems with the product towards the end of the manufacturing process.
