I serve as Vice President and Anchor Strategy Practice Leader at U3 Advisors, where I partner with anchor institutions to foster economic growth and strengthen community vitality. With expertise in geospatial and socioeconomic analytics, I develop strategies that help universities, hospitals, and civic organizations expand their impact through data-driven decision-making.At U3, I lead anchor strategy opportunity analyses, applying my understanding of economic, demographic, and real estate trends to deliver actionable insights. My approach combines rigorous geospatial analysis with a focus on mission alignment, enabling clients to better understand demand drivers and their influence on local markets.My work is deeply shaped by the values of the organizations I collaborate with. In Memphis, I helped launch the Medical District Collaborative’s “Buy Local,” “Live Local,” and “Hire Local” initiatives, which created measurable socio-economic improvements and strengthened ties among eight major institutions. In Newark, I guided strategies for the Newark Alliance that unified diverse stakeholders and advanced economic vitality through community development initiatives like BuyNewark and Live Local Newark. These projects highlight my commitment to leveraging the role of anchor institutions as powerful engines of equitable growth.I also taught geospatial analytics for a decade at Jefferson University. My courses focused on the integration of technology, design, and urban issues, and I was honored with awards such as the Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Award and the Provost’s Team Award for Interdisciplinary Education.
