ABOUT TARA STANZIONE

Tara Stanzione (she/her) is a dedicated Director of Product Marketing at Coursedog, passionate about creating better experiences for customers and building more effective processes for her teams. She leads go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging across Coursedog’s unified academic operations suite. Tara also oversees customer marketing, offering strategic direction and mentorship to drive impactful case studies and reference programs.She partners cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to align feature delivery with adoption strategies and fuel deal acceleration through differentiated messaging and competitive insights. Tara also owns the win/loss program, distilling actionable feedback to inform messaging, roadmap prioritization, and enablement. In 2026, she provides strategic guidance to the Product Advisory Council and Strategic Advisory Board, building on prior ownership of the Customer Advisory Board in 2025 as Senior Product Marketing Manager.Previously, Tara was a Product Marketing Manager at StarRez, where she specialized in market research, competitive intelligence, and strategic positioning. She led the win/loss program, shaping go-to-market strategy with data-driven insights. Her work developing compelling value messaging and competitive battlecards enabled sales teams to succeed and helped position StarRez as a market leader. Tara was known for driving successful product launches through deep cross-functional collaboration from product to sales enablement.Before moving into edtech, Tara built her career in higher education working in residence life and first-year experience at four different college campuses. In her role as the Director of First Year Experience at Salve Regina University she supported 35 peer mentors and 35 instructors for FYT, developed and assessed the FYT curriculum, and co-chaired Orientation efforts. At Tufts University she supervised five Residential Life Coordinators and supported over first-year students, while serving as the Chair of the Equity & Inclusion and Selection & Recruitment Committees. At Roger Williams University she was the coordinator of the Equity & Inclusion Exploration and served as the RA Training Chair while supporting a staff of 15.Stanzione has a Master\'s in Counseling with a specialization in Higher Education from Providence College and a Bachelor\'s in English Communications, which she obtained at Salve Regina University.
