ABOUT T. J. AAGESEN
I have a diversified background focusing largely in emergency services and fire investigations. I\'m blessed to have attended the national fire academy four times studying fire investigations and organizational leadership. I have a passion for what I do and am always challenging myself professionally. Recently I have taken on a role as a court appointed special advocate in Kane county. I have grown from the challenges and experiences presented. Additionally I am serving as the chairman of the board of fire and police commissioners for the city of Elgin, Illinois. As a commissioner I have been able to influence the quality of the fire and police candidates serving my community.
