ABOUT SYLVIE DE BUCK
During my secondary school period, I became passionate about science and it became clear that I wanted to work in this domain and share my knowledge. Therefore, I focused on scientific research in plant biotechnology, taught about it and communicated about it in articles and at conferences. I also supervised students and employees. In addition, I gained a great deal of satisfaction from coordinating and organizing conferences and training courses and taking care of the communication about these events. I think it\'s great to set things in motion and work everything out to perfection. My colleagues, students and managers particularly appreciated my perseverance, people-orientation and enthusiasm. I also have the talent to motivate people and to explain complicated material in a simple way. For my professional career, I therefore focus on several personal qualities: sharing my scientific knowledge with different target groups and take on an administrative / coordinating role.
