ABOUT SUZY YASTER
I am a tax lawyer with over six years of experience, currently working in-house as a Tax Director & Counsel at American Express, providing tax technical advice with a focus on cross-border activity. I received both my J.D, cum laude, and LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law, where I was a Robert McKay Scholar and Editor for the Journal of Law and Business. Prior to joining American Express, I worked in-house as a Tax Planning Manager at Warner Bros. Discovery and as an associate in the tax departments at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP. During my time as an associate, my area of focus included preparing tax advice and drafting and negotiating legal agreements for corporate, debt and derivative transactions.
