ABOUT STEPH LANKE

As a Senior Audit Consultant at Thomson Reuters, I leverage my CPA and CFE credentials and over 25 years of experience in audit, accounting and finance working for CPA firms and tax and accounting software companies deliver effective and efficient training solutions for CPA firms. I’ve also served in a finance leadership role as the Associate Vice President for Finance and Controller at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where I collaborated with the VP for Finance to direct and control the Institute\'s financial operations and reporting. I supervised the accounting team, maintained and controlled all accounting records, reviewed employee work for accuracy and relevance, and used advanced Excel, querying, and data analysis tools to create ad hoc reports. I also implemented and trained employees on new processes and reporting tools, and strived toward continuous process improvement. My mission is to help audit and accounting professionals achieve their goals and deliver high-quality services to their clients, while staying current on accounting and auditing issues and standards. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise through webinars, conferences, videos, and forums, and engaging with the accounting and auditing community. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to challenge myself and the status quo.
