ABOUT STEPHEN STANDIFIRD
During this pivotal time in our collective history, the future of higher education belongs to universities that meet the needs of today’s students. As Bradley University\'s 12th President, I am passionate about disrupting higher education by addressing issues like low graduation rates, high costs, and impersonal experiences. Simply put, we must redesign our institutions to best serve students. Bradley University has challenged traditional higher education for 125 years. We\'ve been servant leaders since day one as our innovative founder, Lydia Moss Bradley, designed our school around what students care about. Everything we do today continues to focus on empowering our students to establish successful careers and lead fulfilling lives. I started my career in higher education with the goal of making a transformational impact on individual students through my work as a professor of business. Today, I take part in creating an institution that impacts thousands. This is why I do what I do. As a first-generation college student, the richness in my life is all thanks to my education. My passion is making sure every student has the tools they need to thrive on campus and beyond. Whatever your story may be, we welcome you to Bradley University.
