ABOUT STEPHEN BLACKWELL

I have been a nationally certified personal trainer since 1998, where I studied with a personal trainer for a year, before getting my own certification. I have worked in Orlando, FL; Los Angeles; and now in Palm Springs, and have done it fully self-employed, as well as working for Fitness centers like 24 Hour fitness, WorkOUT Gym Palm Springs; and World Gym. I trained at numerous private training gyms in Los Angeles, and as well at individual\'s homes. I also have a certification in Sports Nutrition, and have a background in boxing and kick-boxing, and a certification in the Pilates Method (NFTC) and trained clients in Pilates for over 8 years. I am also working at Club Pilates Rancho Mirage, and Palm Springs as the Lead Instructor also. Recently, I left fitness and owned my own retail business; so am well versed in quickbooks; scheduling; payroll; and dealing with distributors, and inventory; and also paying things such as sales tax, and liability, and workman’s comp insurance. Currently I am back working as a fitness instructor, and am the Education and Operations Lead for both Club Pilates Rancho Mirage, and Club Pilates Palm Springs, and the Assistant Manager at Club Pilates Palm Springs. As an actor, I have been acting my whole life it seems. From school plays; to being a theatre major in college; to working as a performer/stunt performer for Universal Studios FL throughout the 90\'s. I also have done over 35 plays in the last few decades. Last summer I got to volunteer to help teach a large group of kids at the Palm Canyon Theatre\'s \"Kid\'s Kamp\' and worked on dialects, and accents with kids from ages 5-15. As a performer at Universal Studios FL/Orlando; I worked on daily shows such as the \"Alfred Hitchcock; the Art of Making Movies\";\"The Gory, Gruesome and Grotesque Horror Make-Up SHow\"; and \"Terminator 2, 3-D; Battle Across Time\" shows. I also performed in various roles in events like Halloween Horror Nights, and Mardi Gras as well as worked many special events as a coordinator. I have also been on television shows and commercials, and in some small independent films.
