In 2010, I ventured into the world of Case Management and took on a new challenge.by redesigning/developing two departments—our WC Case Management Dept and the Social Services Dept. I have moved up through the ranks starting as a Nurse Tech, Staff RN, RN Educator, RN Charge, and then was promoted to Nurse Manager/Unit Director by actively seeking challenges and learning different things within our health care system. I have extensive knowledge/experience in UR tools such as IQ and MCG. Extensive knowledge into CDI, OP/IP medical coding, DRG validation, physician/facility billing/ reimbursement/revenue cycle.
