ABOUT STEPHANIE MACNEIL
Stephanie has over 14 years of experience as an environmental professional and project manager focusing on marine ecology, salmonid fisheries, and aquatic environmental effects monitoring. As a senior project manager, Stephanie manages marine projects throughout BC at various stages of completion, from concept design to post-construction offset habitat monitoring. She has a wide range of experience on projects throughout the BC coast and the Fraser River watershed. These projects have involved project management, field supervision, federal and provincial permitting, environmental effects monitoring, water and sediment quality monitoring, management of commercial fishery stock data, marine mammal monitoring, hydrophone monitoring, and large-scale marine and freshwater fish and invertebrate salvages. She has managed, coordinated, and implemented numerous field programs involving fisheries management, and the evaluation of fish communities and marine ecosystems in the Philippines, throughout BC, and the maritime provinces in Canada. Stephanie brings her knowledge and experience in marine impact mitigation, regulatory compliance, and technical reporting to her projects. She excels in client engagement, communication, and presentation skills, as demonstrated at conferences and project stakeholder meetings, where she has presented on behalf of clients regarding project environmental monitoring requirements, adaptive management strategies, and regulatory compliance.
