In this role I am supported by a team of 4 people- we coordinate the nomination processes for each new component in the bill of materials for all new projects- we perform Green Field and Brown Field value analyses aimed at optimizing product cost starting from the earliest design stages, assigning targets and supporting the buyers in their negotiation process- we actively calibrate and monitor the capacity of the entire supply chain in order to allocate optimal quantities to ensure the best trade-off between investment and flexibility- we deal with bottlenecks to identify potential opportunities for improvement.
