Conduct daily quality checks on wire harnesses (IP, Engine, Main Body, and Chassis) during installation in Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and GMC Denali Mid-size trucks at the GM assembly plant.Identify wire harness defects during installation at GM’s assembly plant and provide inputs for SPPS resolution, supporting timely corrective and preventive actions. Assist in root cause analysis by gathering defect data, validating issues on the line, and communicating with Lear’s Mexico manufacturing plants to drive corrective actions.Review 2D blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to validate harness design, connector fit, and manufacturability.Collaborate with GM production teams to monitor harness integration, minimize downtime, and improve assembly reliability.Provide feedback to Lear’s manufacturing plants to prevent recurrence of issues, ensuring continuous improvement in harness production and assembly quality.Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements, contributing to vehicle reliability, customer satisfaction, and plant performance goals.
