Sophia Parsa is a Los Angeles native, entrepreneur, community builder, angel investor, and experiential event designer. Past and current experiences include: Co- Founder of Golden Rice Co, A Méditerranéen/Iranian-inspired rotisserie and rice fast-casual popup restaurant. GRC was featured on the Jonathan Gold 101 Restaurants in the popup section 2 years in a row by Los Angeles Times Restaurant critic Bill Addison. Lead Designer and Partner of Sophia Parsa Events. A corporate and personal events production studio. Sophia has designed over 250 unique events since being established in 2020.Co-Founder of Boxxie Party, a corporate gifting platform for corporations including Amazon Studios, Masterclass, Instacart, and more.Sophia is a venture scout at Upfront Ventures Community Fund. Sophia in invested in 13 local startups focused on consumer tech and CPG.Previously Sophia was Head of Digital Community at FabFitFun, overseeing 2M subscribers\' digital and in-person membership experience. Sophia was Curator and Co-Founder of Mountain Gate, a speaker and dinner series that hosted over guests for dinner in her backyard from 20••••20. Sophia has experience consulting on Community Experience and Engagement with several Los Angeles-based startups.
