ABOUT SOHAIL RAJABI
A Senior Staff Data Scientist and machine learning engineer with a career spanning healthcare AI, aerospace, and enterprise data science. I started at the University of Alberta and the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute, building ML tools with doctors and researchers to improve outcomes in brain cancer. I then joined a YCombinator-backed AR company where we built software for Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and NASA, including tools used in manufacturing the Orion MPCV for NASA\'s Artemis program. Today at Global Relay, my team and I work across the full data science lifecycle, from speech, vision, and LLMs to classification, information retrieval, RAG, vector search, and fine-tuning, along with the deployment infrastructure and inference engine optimization to run it all at scale.
