Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all users at mine site. • Maintain all site satellite, network and radio communications at mine site. • Administer site database to track software and hardware installs to ensure licensing compliance. • Manage site phone and voicemail Cisco CUCM. • Administer Cisco switches/routers with ability to create and manage VLAN’s. • Assist in the continuity of projects with other site departments and corporate office. • Pull and terminate RJ45 and fiber network cabling in offices and Production Plant. • Maintenance of all site printers, copiers and other peripheral devices. • Responsible for maintaining consumable inventory and new product research. • Manage, monitor, and test routine system backups and restores. • Maintain and troubleshoot Camp television system. • Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers, input/output devices, and workstations. • Assist in the development and maintenance of all systems, applications, security, and desktop areas. • Work independently with little or no supervision. • Ability to follow Information Technology General Controls and Best Practices. • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as servers, computers, and peripherals. • Conduct all work safely and follow all mine safety procedures. • Will be required to climb ladders and work at height for long periods of time. • The position requires working outside for long periods of time in adverse working conditions. • Will be required to go underground on occasions. • Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, community and environmental protection and take action to ensure that unsafe practices or non-compliant behaviors do not occur. • Informs, involves and engages key internal and external stakeholders appropriately; develops and maintains positive relationships and represents Agnico Eagle, Hope Bay positively in the community.
