Responsible for Managing day to day File transfers, Operations and MFT Environment Administration. • Responsible for providing operational support/administration for IBM Aspera File transfer environment. • Responsible for managing MFT products like Sterling Integrator, SFG, SSP, ICC, SEAS and Perimeter Servers. • Perform technical feasibility analysis; understanding what can be done with a realistic assessment of complexity of our Sterling File Transfer/Sterling B2B Integrator (MFT) environment and maintain a robust application. • Implemented MFT Monitoring application (In java) which enable us to monitor the MFT environment proactively. • Design and implement best practices that promotes ease of maintenance, ease of extension, high reliability, simplicity, and optimized performance. • Actively participate in project discovery and planning work. • Assist File transfer engineering team to resolve issues found in testing. • Categorize file transfer jobs into categories that meet SFG and ACFC standards and can be assigned to Sterling File Gateway (SFG) templates. The template will then be modified as necessary for each file transfer job. • Mentor Production Control Engineering team & NOC members in SFG best practices • Develop and document an integrated test plan for certification of net new jobs design in compliance with SFG best practices • Mentor application resources on how to integrate net new file transfer request with SFG. • Provide status updates and/or reports as needed • Provide assistance to IT Infrastructure Operations initiatives as needed. Responsible for Install/Configure/Manage and Support IBM Aspera Product in addtion to IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, • Install and Configure IBM Aspera High-Speed Transfer Server • Install and Configure IBM Point to Point Clients. • Install and Configure IBM Aspera Command Line Interface and setting up Sync Jobs using async protocol. • Hands on experice with Aspera Product upgrades and migration.
