Seconded position, reporting in to Managing Director with overall responsibility for Health and Safety, Technical and Regulatory Compliance. Tasked with line management of Compliance team inclusive of Safety and Quality Assurance Manager (responsible for Quality Assurance Field Team), Compliance Co-ordinators and Trainers. Building on an already strong safety culture and further driving improvements through gap/trend analysis, internal audit activity and engagement with all interested parties.Responsible for site health and safety management of Head Office and Contact Centre sites, and any H&S concerns or issues across the staff. Lead on all internal and external audit activity prescribed by our client partners, wider group or industry bodies such as EUSR, NSAP, Gas Safe, RECCo, Achilles, ISO. Part of Senior Management team within the organisation, delivering safety and Compliance statistics and working with other department heads and Directors to assist in driving safety culture across all aspects of the business.Compiling and delivering reports for the Managing Director, SMT, Board, Clients and other Interest Parties detailing safety and compliance statistics, trends, risks and opportunities. Deciding action plans for any identified gaps or needs and managing to fulfilment.Empowering team members within the Compliance team to drive their respective roles forward, liaising with them on where they can see potential for improvement. Guiding and coaching them to improve their own role and vicariously the business. Responsible for document control, writing of and review of policies, procedures, risk assessments and method statements.Responsible for management and upkeep of Integrated Management System.
