Responsible for all strategic and operational aspects involved in the management, maintenance and all aspects of operations for cemeteries and crematoriums located on crown land in Greater Sydney and Newcastle. Key aspects of the role include- Ensuring operations at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium, Field of Mars, Frenchs Forest Bushland Cemetery and Sandgate Cemetery meet strategic and operational goals and legislative requirements- Leading a diverse and highly skilled workforce in the delivery of burial and cremation services to a diverse range of customers- Responsible for the management and maintenance of open space, streetscapes and sites of horticultural significance- Delivering a range of services to ensure facilities, infrastructure and sites of historical significance are effectively managed, maintained and well presented- Working closely with a range of stakeholders including funeral service providers, government agencies and the public- Delivering a range of projects and initiatives- Ensuring high levels of workplace safety is maintained at all times.
